For the artist, there is no traditional "road map." Below are a few crucial resources that have helped us along the way, our own survival guide. **

- Jacob Krueger Studio - A writing studio and community that teaches both the art and craft of writing. (Check out Jake's free screenwriting Podcasts - they are awesome and informative!)
- John Dapolito - Bi-coastal acting coach and mentor to professional artists, both aspiring and established. His "Acting-Niche" Phenomenon seminars, master classes, script and audition techniques have shifted the industry perspective on how an artist is marketed.
- Fractured Atlas - "A nonprofit technology company that helps artists with the business side of their work."
- Manhattan Theatre Club, the young patron program - membership perks at a discount price for ages 18-39. Enjoy post-show parties with guest artists, behind-the-scenes access, special educational programs and discount theatre tickets while supporting one of the country’s most acclaimed not-for-profit theatres.
- Stage 32 - LinkedIn meets Facebook for industry professionals. The only community dedicated to connecting and educating professional working artists worldwide.
- Creative Media Design (CMD) - A beautiful recording studio
- The Drama Book Shop - A specialized store with published plays, musicals, industry trade encyclopedias, biographies and a variety of other resources for every artist.
- The William Esper Studio - A New York based conservatory that specializes in the Meisner technique, which is one of three core acting techniques in the US.
- CropShoppe - Every actor needs a reel. So if you are looking for an exceptional acting reel, editing and/or production, these guys know how to get it done. Their product is professional and they turn things around quick. They provide the perfect bridge between a casting director's needs and an artist's expression. Tell Ryan we said hello!
- IATI Theater (64 East 4th) - A downtown theater company that promotes Latino heritage. Also a great location to rent theater and rehearsal space.
- Studio Envie - Specializing in interior design and branding consulting.
- The Meatball Shop - The best meatballs (and bourbon floats!!) in New York City. A noisy, but perfect, home base for the occasional production meeting and/or post Tribeca Film Festival debrief. And surprisingly, they have great brunch too!
- High West Distillery - our favorite hang-out in Park City during the Sundance Film Festival. Friendly staff, tasty food and their Barreled Manhattan is a favorite among the Little Spoon Big Spoon community.
